Park Tool SG-8 Carbon Fork Sawguide
When it comes down to that moment you decide to cut down your carbon steer-tube, it would be best to use a guide to ensure a proper and clean cut. Unfortunately standard saw guides can't fit a carbon specific cutting blade due to the unique shape of the serrations and wider profile of the wider, carbon specific saw blades. Luckily Park Tool designed a saw blade guide to accommodate. Made for fork steer tubes up to 1-1/4" in diameter. Also works great when cutting handlebars or other round tubes from 22mm to 33mm. Simply clamp the SG-8 onto the tube and cut, letting the SG-8 guide the hacksaw blade. The SG-8's non scratching composite body incorporates steel threads and a steel reinforcing plate to withstand the rigors of heavy shop use. The SG-8 accommodates blades up to 2.5mm (3/32") wide.
