These pedals are awesome
These pedals are awesome. I've been using Primo Super Tenderizers for years but these weigh about 8 ounces less and have even better grip.

Bomb-proof flat pedal
Been rocking these Easton Flatboys for 8 years.

In countless contests of brawn with boulders, stumps, and gravity, they have emerged the clear winner. Sure - maybe they got a scar or lost a tooth, but that was just a testimony to their non-stop bad-assitude.

In short, if Chuck Norris rode a bike, he would most certainly be rocking these pedals.

PROS: Good value, Durable, Solid

CONS: Heavy, Pin Type, Pin Placement, Pin Placement Type

BEST USES: All Mountain, Mountain Biking

They last
I got the Easton Flatboys around 2000. They still work fine. The pegs were replaced with a complete set of small screws, the same kind that attach a CD drive in computer bay. It would have been too hard to find replacement set screws they came with. The originals twist out and bend a little, and the hex head gets plugged up. The new screws do good with different shoes, wet or dry. These are light but very heavy duty, I weigh 250lb and do a lot of hill climbing.

PROS: Cnc Machined

CONS: Pegs Fall Out
