The Azonic Flat Iron pedal features a super low profile design of 10mm. The low profile brings the rider’s foot close to the spindle, which increases the rider feel and reduces weight. The strong 6061 T6 forged aluminum body combined with the 4130 Chromoly spindle, create a strong pedal that is still lightweight. The Flat Iron Pedals come with replaceable pins that enable you to mix and match between “Fatty” pins which provide durability, and “Micro” pins, so that you can customize your pedals to your liking.

Comments about Azonic / O'Neal Azonic Flat Iron Pedals:
I rode these pedals immediately after the Spanks Spikes and definitely noticed a lack of traction when trying to move the bike around in the air with my feet. Multiple times I went to adjust the bike mid flight and felt my feet slide off the pedals. The pins are larger and smoother but this may be a benefit to those that find some pedals to grippy. I didn't have any problems while riding on the ground through chunk or berms. The thin profile was great and I was concerned the arch of my shoe would be effected by the spindle bearing but did not notice it. Great clearance and decent looking pedal but I preferred the Spank spikes or the HT AE05's that I'm running now.
