Comments about Hope Technology Hope F20 Pedal:

These pedals are impeccably machined, smooth and durable. The pins are rounded so they don't bite as hard as other pedals but when you slip one you do not pay the price as severely as with other flats that have threads sticking out. I wear 5.10s so I have never felt like they don't provide enough grip. These are by far the best flats that I have ridden or caught a glimpse of. I am about to order my second pair.

Comments about Hope Technology Hope F20 Pedal:

I've been eyeing these pedals for several years and wanted to put them on one of my Marin mountain bikes. For one reason or another I just never could see spending the $$ on them since all of my bikes already had decent platform pedals on them.
A recent new purchase of a 24" Haro freestyle bike gave the perfect excuse to try the Hope's out and see they perform. Even though these are not advertised as a BMX type pedal they have held up very well to the abuse that a suspension-less bike can dish out. I ride a local concrete skate park frequently and also at Rays MTB park. They have given me the super grip that I demand and a 'thin' design that really helps keep my feet planted even when I'm a little off on my jumping. The pins stay tight and they even toss in several extras per pedal if they ever did fall out. To make them even 'grippy'er' I ran a flat file across the top of the pins just a few times to give them a little sharper edge for even more solid shoe grip. Totally not needed but I like LOTS of grip!
All in all they have been a great purchase then I have not regret! I bought the silver version so when they start to get a few scratches on them they don't sow as well and keep that new pedal look.

Comments about Hope Technology Hope F20 Pedal:

These are really nice pedals. The bearings have no play, even after a bunch of dings on rocks. They also have a nice profile and are thin.

I'd give them 5 stars, but they don't grip how I like. I like small pins that get stuck in my shoes and these have fat pins. The fat pins do not stick into your sole. However, this is just a riding style preference; many riders like a pedal that doesn't stick like glue. A little machine work to the outside pins would make them a 5 star for me.

Comments about Hope Technology Hope F20 Pedal:

The platform feels better than my Answer Rove and Transition Stepdown pedals. Better grip than the Answer Rove. Doesn't have the "stuck" feeling grip of the Transitions. I like the even feel of the grip with the center pins over the others. Shoes are 5.10 Impact, but work well with my trail work boots, also.
Comes with extra pins and an allen wrench.
