after purchasing this a little over a month ago, i finally got to use it last night on a midnight ride with my buddy. after popping his tire and realizing he didnt have his CO2 system or a spare tube with him and being a good 5 miles from home, I was glad to whip out my spare tube and new CO2 system for him so we could get home!Being the first time I ever used this, I made the mistake of releasing WAY to much CO2 on the first blast, and actually popping the tire off the rim!, after releasing some pressure from the tire to get it back on the rim we were good to go!bottom line: for the cost of this tool, plus a $5 tube, this made the difference between a LONG walk home and being able to ride home. you can't beat the price, it works as described, highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have carried this in my camelback without much thought (small and easy to store) until today. Had a flat and only had my small pump and this CO2 system with me. Had to use both to pump my 26" MTB tire with 35 psi of air, but that was my fault (let too much air escape trying to figure out it's operation; designed for a one shot deal).The system looks very simple to use and that is both, its advantage and can lead to error in operation. The only thing that the trigger regulates is attachment of the system to the valve. Once you attach the system to the valve, you need to slide the part holding the CO2 canister downwards towards the valve to release air into the tire tube. So first press the trigger system (with trigger down) onto valve, stand the trigger up, screw your CO2 into trigger system, and then finally press depress the section holding the CO2 towards the valve to pump tire full of air. Simple, but unless you know to depess that CO2, it can seem like its all for nothing.
