At it's core, a blinky light needs to be three things: bright, simple and reliable. The Planet Bike BRT-3 satisfies all three requirements easily. I bought one, loved it, lost it and bought two more Bright? My night riding buddies complain about it being too bright. Simple? On (solid)-On-(blinking)-Off. None of those fancy/silly special blinking patterns to have to cycle through trying to find 'Off'. Reliable? It always works! It also never jumps off the mount that it comes with, and I have taken mine on dozens of off-road night rides. My Planet Bike blinky has also seen thousands of commuter miles without issue. I've owned dozens of other blinky lights in my day, this is my favorite. Oh, it's only [$]bucks, too.

Still can't believe the price. The light is very bright and annoying, just what you need when riding at night. At this price i;ll be buying another one too REALLY stand out on the darl suburban roads i commute on. Quick release it right into my bookbag before getting on the train.

Overall this is a very good product for street and light trail use. If using on rougher terrain I would suggest using strong rubberbands to keep the light from making a quick getaway when you least expect it.

Bright and Cheap. What more could you ask for? It helps you to be seen on the road home. Long battery life is a plus. It was accidentally left on for a few days in a bag and still works great.
