The POC Bone VPD leg guard offers an amazing level of protection while maintaining a comfortable fit. The sleeve is constructed of a breathable material and also included a detachable calf protector. VPD is a protective material used on the knee portion that will hold up to multiple impacts and also remain effective in all temperature ranges. VPD's shock absorption is progressive in nature. The harder the impact, the material actually accomodates the impact by transitioning to a harder material. When it is not needed it stays softer and more comfortable without compromising safety and protection. The POC Bone VPD guard uses shields of sturdy polypropylene as shin protection.

I was looking for an effective way to protect my knees and shins...and once I saw the POC Bone VPDs I stopped searching. I ordered the pads after reading reviews and I couldn't be happier. They look awesome, they fit perfectly, and last but not least....they give you a boost of confidence, allowing you to shred harder. The pads move right along with your knee joint with no resistance whatsoever. I was amazed. I would recommend these pads to anyone doing any type of mountain biking that wants shin/knee protection. Buy these pads. I also bought the POC elbow pads and I love them. POC owns. Period.
