Prestacycle Prestaflator Compressor Head

Who says air compressors are for automotive use only? With the Prestacycle Prestaflator, air compressors become another weapon in your bicycle tool arsenal! The Prestaflator uses a unique variable-rate trigger action inflator valve to permit “small shots” of air in order to precisely reach the desired air pressure without the risk of over-inflation, while a full squeeze on the trigger provides maximum pressure for seating tubeless tires. The air pressure holds the tool in place so that the dial pressure gauge lets you follow your progress visually and obtain accurate readings. The exclusive Spin-on head provides an air-tight seal, zero pressure loss during disconnection, and is able to take tire pressure readings without being connected to an Air Compressor. Constructed of high-quality materials such as cast aluminum, 6061-T6 Alloy, chrome, stainless steel and reinforced polyurethane, the Prestaflator is both dexterous and resilient, certain to give you years and years of reliable, bike-pump-free service.

Comments about Prestacycle Prestaflator Compressor Head:

While I read a lot of good reviews on this product and the price point was good, the product is far behind the park tool shop inflator. The screw on presta tip leaked when unscrewing it,consistently causing a drop of 5-8 psi. At the end of the day it was easier to use my normal pump. I ended up purchasing the park tool inflator and love it.

Comments about Prestacycle Prestaflator Compressor Head:

This inflator is simple, great, and works. Doesn't leak. Not sure exactly how accurate the gauge is, whatever. We use it here at the shop for quick inflation and setting up tubeless tires. Paired with a good compressor it delivers a lot of air really fast, which seals tubeless tires immediately. Can't vouch for other inflators that might be prettier... the hose is not so great if you're holding the inflator in one hand and the wheel in another, meaning you'll have to put the tire between your knees and hold the head on the valve while you inflate. Not really a big deal though. Get this!
