I have three of these on various bikes. They are very bright and visible due to their focused beam. Because it's focused, it needs to be aimed properly for maximum effect. The rubber band mounting system works very well and is quick and easy to put on and take off. It'll mount to a fat seat post, seat tube, or a skinny chain stay. It has a clip but putting in on a strap on a saddle bag or backpack is unlikely to keep it aimed properly.
They have been very reliable so far.

I've tried many rear lights over the past 10 years and this is the brightest and most versatile to date. I can quickly remove it from one bike to the other with its simple bungie design. Less that 30 seconds to remove and re-install.
