All axle bolts should be these (unless QR). I cannot tell you how much stress these bolt relieve from me when setting the rear wheel on my single speed bikes! With typical bolt-n-washer combos the axle wants to move slightly when snugging up. On both my SS bikes, I have only one tensioner so the untensioned bolt always wanted to wander when tightening. Not with these! Just set the axle, finger-tighten, then torque to spec.. NO WANDERING. I wish I could give these away to SS riders. If you ride a SS bike where you tension the axle on one side only, just order two of these now.

The integrated washer is great since I don't have to worry about it falling off when removing the wheel and makes it easier to tension. Just like the previous reviewer, there is a thread less gap where the washer is riveted so measure the bolt shank accordingly.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These are a very good idea, I really like the built in washers, which is why I ordered them. Unfortunately, there is a 5.5mm portion of the nut that isn't threaded (where the washer sits), which means that on the 174mm axle I am using with a 135mm shimano xt rear hub, I get about 2 threads worth of axle into each nut, which is not enough. (I bought the 10mm X 1.0 version)Make sure you have 12mm at a minimum of exposed axle THREADS on each side if you want to use these.
