I wanted a "good" tandem for myself and my oldest daughter (7). But I didn't want to keep buying new tandems as she would outgrow them! This is the PERFECT solution to have a great tandem (made for two adults), yet adapted for the shorter legs of kids (so they can reach and have have their knees protected from extended reach). And it's extendable (four positions)! The rest of a good quality tandem can easily be adpated to fit a kid (seat, height and lenght of the handlebar, ...).
