Pedals are huge and work great under my big feet (Size 12-13). Pins are solid and do a decent job of keeping the garbage shoes I have on the pedals. Waiting on my Five Ten Freerides to come in which should result in a pretty awesome platform setup. The green also matches some of the other bits on my bike for steeze factor. Only gripe is that I wish they were slightly thinner but they'll do the trick.

I bought this pedal because I loved the look, and out of the box it was great - until I installed them. There is no room from the inside of the pedal to the crank-arm of the bike so the pedal is stuck. I tried to find a washer that was thin enough big enough to fit - but no go.

This is more cautionary for those who are thinking about this pedal.

Comments about Race Face Atlas Pedals:

I got the green pedals to match the pin stripes on my bike. They look rad, easy to install. You don't need a pedal wrench for these baby's either, which was a nice bonus. They come withave extra pegs Too.

I hesitated buying these because of the price tag, but I have no regrets. If you are going to ride platforms these are a solid choice. The extra clearance I get with these is also Great. if your thinking about getting them but are holding off because of the $$ just buy them. You will love them. (Watch the back legs though they'll tear you up)

Comments about Race Face Atlas Pedals:

I wear a size 11 shoe. I have been riding on these for about 6 weeks and close to 200 miles.

Previous pedals I have owned and used extensively include Canefield crampons and Spank Spike and Oozys. Atlas pedals are my favorite. They spin more easily than the spank pedals and don't require pedal washers on any cranks I have used them on. The concave shape of the pedal, pin placement and angles all combine to give this pedal an amazing feel and connection through the bike. The pin shape digs into five ten shoes and won't let go. The slightly longer but not as wide pedal shape helps support the arch of your foot while minimizing the side profile for tight rock gullies.

Every time I ride these I am blown away by how they feel. You can find lighter, cheaper, and thinner pedals out there but for my riding these are the best that I have used.

Comments about Race Face Atlas Pedals:

I started riding clipless pedals, and after trying to enjoy using them, I searched for a good platform pedal. These do not disappoint. Super light weight, and super sexy, even in nasty mud, my feet stay glued down. Paired with a good shoe (I wear the Five Ten Freerider) you're gonna have a good time. So do what I did. Save your doll hairs, and get these bad boys.

They're not as grippy as the pedals I had previously but i can shift my feet if they move.

Comments about Race Face Atlas Pedals:

Only had them a few months but with 4 Bearings they spin very smooth compared to many of the other "top end" pedals I've used that often include bushings that don't hold up as long or well.

The pins screw in from the other side but have smaller square edges so they are easy to replace if necessary after a good rock bashing. Will be buying another set for my other bike soon.

Comments about Race Face Atlas Pedals:

Spindle issue stated above has been fixed. RaceFace made them longer. At least with Black color version. I used to ride Shimano DX pedals. These are bigger and about half the weight and half the thickness. Pins are fairly long but they come with washers to shorten pins if you like. So far they are fantastic. Zero issues or complaints.
