Comments about Race Face Dig Elbow Guard 2012:

These are hard shelled pads covered with fabric. They fit small. I am 5'11" and 140 lbs (skinny), and the large size fits tight enough. I leave these and the Race Face Dig Knee Pads in my Osprey Raptor 10 hydration pack and they fit nice and snug. I live in Southern California, so you always climb fire roads before descending down single track. I put these on once I am at the top for added protection on the descent. I would not recommend these for all day type riding because they have poor ventilation. For my usage, they are priced right and fit the bill.
