Race Face Stash Bib Shorts help you shed the hydration pack, since you don't always need it, but you always need spots to carry items in a secure and central location. This bib extended item gives you a tank, a liner, and a bib, plus pockets to take along things such as a bladder, spare tubes, tools, a pump and/or inflator, snacks, and what-have-you. You get all this carrying capacity, and without the need to put on a traditional pocketed jersey. Ah, freedom!

SIZE CHART (IN)
Waist: Measure at narrowest circumference.
Chest: Measure at fullest circumference, keeping tape up under arms and across shoulder blades.
Hip: Measure around the widest part of the pelvis, around the buttocks.
THUMBS UP: price quality materials functionality (storage-wise, not bladder - see below) Can't comment on chamois or riding with bib...see "fit" below
MEH: first thought was "this is going to be warm". I can't say for sure as I never actually rode them. but they could do well with lighter, more ventilated materials in strategic areas. hydration pouch - liked the idea but 1. pulling on the shorts OR dropping them (bathroom break) with full bladder installed is a bit awkward. 2. hose routes through the shoulder strap (similar to a camelback) which buries the mouthpiece under your jersey against your chest. No worries if you go jersey-less, or wear this over a shirt, but that's not my cup of tea. So, for me the hydro pouch is not useful AND creates multiple layers of full-back coverage (warm). it could however, simply be used as another pocket for stuff you don't often need, e.g. (hopefully) a tube/CO2. but be aware you won't get into the pocket without removing the top of the bibs, or having a friend reach in.
RIDE IMPRESSION: NONE (FIT) I'm 5'10", 175lbs "athletic" build, a size Large in almost everything. This Large was way too small for me. The shorts fit OK, a little snug, but the straps were at least 2", perhaps 3" too short which pulled "everything" high and tight (if you get my meaning). I haven't decided if I'll try the XL, or just go with another pair of Specialized SWAT, which I already have and give 5 stars...
in summary, well built and clever idea, but be aware it may not be optimal for the way most of us dress for a trail ride.
