This is a very good quality pump. The way it connects is great, it DOES NOT allow any pressure to be lost if you use it correctly. Some of the air pressure you hear when disconnecting is coming from the pump, not the shock. I pumped mine up to 175 lbs. very easily. I'm not sure, but it looks like it's also able to be "rebuilt" because I see O-rings for the seals. Much better than some custom rubber shape that wears out and then it's tossed. I suspect I'll be using this one for a long, long time. I love quality tools and this is it!

I bought this particular model mostly for the zero-loss valve head. This feature worked pretty well. The gauge goes up to 400 psi, so unfortunately it is not very accurate to read off at the low pressures that I need (70-100 psi), but that's inevitable for a high-pressure pump. Overall I initially liked it.

Unfortunately, after just a few uses, the valve head started to leak air and it became useless. I have since replaced it with a more high-end model that also has the no-loss valve feature, and has a much better build quality.

Comments about Rav X Shock X Shock Pump:

I received it with a crack on the plastic gauge cover. Not a big deal, just cosmetic. Decided to keep it and use it anyway. Then a year later and after just a few uses, the valve head started to leak air. It almost cost me, my shock. Thinking the rear shock was the issue, I slammed it on the table. Good thing it break

Comments about Rav X Shock X Shock Pump:

My favorite feature is the dual screw on head, which lets me attach and detach the pump from the shocks without losing any air. This makes it possible to pressurize the shocks extremely accurately. No more over inflating, and hoping I guess correctly how much air will escape as I disconnect the pump.
As long as this pump lasts a long time (and it certainly feels like it will!) I am ready to proclaim this the perfect shock pump.

        Seem solid and well made.

When I presurize my rear Fox shock (2005ish RP3), detach and re-attach I notice that I loose around 15-20psi in the process. But when I do the same on my cousin's newer Fox shock (2012ish RP23), theres only a 5-10psi loss. So I guess psi loss has to do more with what shock model and age then the pump.

I applied a super thin coat of grease on the threads of the red tumb screw for a smoother on/off action

Comments about Rav X Shock X Shock Pump:

As others have said, this is a high quality pump. Easy to pump up and bleed off pressure. There is no pressure loss when you remove the chuck. The only thing I would change would to have a gauge with better resolution in the 100psi range, where fork adjustment takes place.

Comments about Rav X Shock X Shock Pump:

I bought this pump after blowing up the gauge of a cheaper 200 psi pump. I needed something to adjust pressure levels in my fork, without losing any pressure during the disconnect, and this pump does that perfectly. With a 400 psi rating, I don't think there's anything I'll be using that I can't air up with this pump. It's also a lot smaller than I was expecting, and should fit into any reasonably sized pack with no problems.
