The Retrospec All-Star Wheelsets have been custom-designed to give you optimal speed, dexterity and control on the road. The 41mm super deep V rims strike the ideal balance between being lightweight and having responsive performance capacity and durability. Retrospec rims are double walled with black spokes that show off color better than traditional wheels.
The All-Star Wheelset comes with Retrospec Alloy 41mm double-walled 700 x 23c rims, KT Quando flip-flop hubs (F 100mm, R 110mm), 16T fixed-gear and freewheel cogs, CST 700 x 23c tubes with presta valves, and CST high performance tires.

I am running these on a Fixed-Gear road bike that I built, and for the price, I couldn't be more pleased. They get the job done, and are well-built enough for me to feel safe riding them. They arrived inflated and true, all I had to do was bolt them on, install a chain and go! The only gripe I have is that the freewheel side of the hub is a bit wobbly, but not enough to affect performance.

The wheels are great as far as i can tell. they look cool and work well but my only problem with them was they were not truly straight when i took them out of the box. they both had a slight wobble to them. luckily i have a friend with his own bike shop and he trued them for me in a 10 minutes. Just a forewarning. And Jensonusa, you should be checking this on all of your products before shipping them out. Not a great impression left when i had to call 2 times to get my helmet to ship finally and my wheels were warped out of the box. Thanks

My brother ordered the Retrospec wheelsets in white for an old Fuji frame that him and I fixed up and I was very disappointed. The workmanship is just poor, even for the low price. And the front wheelset was MISSING TWO BOLTS. Ended up having to pay $6 to replace those at a local bike shop which wasn't fun. Don't get me wrong, for the price they look pretty nice. But up close they don't look so good, and the hubs don't seem very solid. You get what you pay for, that's all.

I am very happy with these wheels. The track cog is held on the correct way with red Loc-Tite, the way youre supposed to do it so it doesnt un-thread when you brake. I inflated the tires, put the wheels on my bike, and have had no complaints whatsoever.

Good inexpensive wheels. You can't expect $300 + quality from these wheels but they do the job. I got the deep rim look at a bargain and in a bunch of colors. I changed out the freewheel cog with no problem for a larger toothed cog. When I went to change the fixed cog I found out it was glued on (maybe loctite.) I spoke with someone at Jenson and they recommended I take it to a shop to get the glued cog off. I'll give it a try. They have been working just fine with the freewheel.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
