For those who like foam grips, these are the ones to get. The foam is dense to give good support and cushion vibration. They are prone to damage and tearing with hard use. I fix small tears with a little Aqua seal, and if done right you will hardly notice the damage. If you install these dry with a shot of compressed air, they tend to stay put with no slipping. Also very light. Have not notice them absorbing water, but have not generally ridden in the rain. Comfortable design.

I've been using mine all year round (including miserable Canadian winters) for the last 2-3 years. No signs of wear yet, no slipping on the bars, no problems at all. They weigh 42g and cost nothing. At that price you're crazy if you don't try them.
