Actually cleans and lubes in one step. No lube build-up, no chain tattoos, stays cleaner, and works better than conventional or wax lubes. I was skeptical of this home brewed lube, but it works as advertised and beats the big name brands. I gave it a try after it won a chain lube test, otherwise I would not have, because of the home-made packaging. Use a funnel to transfer to the smaller bottle, or you'll teflon coat your hands. Just hose-it-on and wipe off the excess along with the dirt.

I use the lube on my mtn,road & CX bikes.It not only jubes it cleans as it lubes.The only down side it is patroleum based,soooo not cool to the environment but I don't have to use it as much as some other lubes (who are also petroleum based).

I ride roads and trails(Greenways) to stay on the green side of the grass. I re-applied after the first 100 mi. and not sure that was necessary.
The chain seems quiet and runs easy. Can't get better than that.

This stuff is the best. I've tried so many different chain lubes and this is by far my favorite. Easy to apply, lasts forever, and makes the drivetrain run silently. Order it. Don't even look at anything else.

Should be called rock n ride lube!! I use for mtb and road bike, cleans and lubes chain and actually last for miles!!
