RockShox Pike just keeps getting better! With the addition of Boost spacing the Pike retains its crown as the ultimate trail fork. Stretching the stance of these forks out to 110mm allows stronger, lighter, and more horizontally stiff wheels to be used in the new breed of 27.5" and bigger bikes. Further, you are able to stuff a wider sized tire/rim combo into these forks allowing you to run the latest in ultra-wide and grippy tires. The Pike is excellent for single-track or rock infested goat trail up in the Alps. Either way, the Pike is sure to perform well!
The latest edition of the Pike features up to 160mm of travel from the 35mm diameter upper legs, and a tapered steerer with a 15mm thru-axle. The seals have been designed to lessen breakaway friction, utilizing a single lip seal while slotted bushings permit oil to circulate to keep things lubricated. The Pike also highlights the new Charger Damper system, which is also seen on the Vivid Air R2C downhill shock, assuring no compromise in bump performance when your ride turns down the hill. The RCT3 damper features adjustable low speed compression, pedal, open, and lockout so you are ready for whatever terrain comes your way. The new sealed cartridge utilizes an extruded bladder filled with 3wt oil which expands to contain oil displaced by the fork as it moves through the travel. The Maxle Lite is a brilliant Boost 110mm x 15mm thru axle system that provides maximum stiffness, while keeping it lightweight and it requires no tools for removal. The Power Bulge feature reinforces the lower leg to allow for an oversized bushing, enhancing stiffness and durability. Last but not least, the Pike RCT3 attributes RockShox's Rapid Recovery technology allowing the shocks to recover quicker between consecutive bumps, making the wheel track the ground with greater precision. If the Pike RCT3 Boost doesn't make for a smoother, more manageable ride, we don't what will.
You must use Boost hubs to be compatible with the 110mm spacing. Some hub manufacturers will make adapters to fit 100mm hubs into Boost forks. Rear hubs are not adaptable to Boost 148 spacing.

DT Swiss has released a new high engagement hub for trail and gravity riders.The new DEG hub still utilizes DT Swiss' ratchet system, but the ratchet itself is almost twice as big as the current ratchet in order to match the large hub shell of the new hub. The max number of teeth available used to be 54, but the new DEG ratchet has grown to 90 teeth, which provides 4º of engagement angle, greatly reducing the play between engagement points.
For 2025, Fox has come out swinging with an all-new lineup of forks and dampers. The new Grip X2, Grip X and Grip SL are replacing the outgoing Grip 2, Grip and Fit4 dampers which have provided amazing performance in Fox forks for years. There have been some pretty solid improvements in performance and longevity of this line of suspension and we're excited to share the information with you!
