Sometimes you just need a bike to put in some miles, enjoy the ride and maybe do a century or crit every so often. No Tour champion or over priced carbon construction here, just value without compromising on quality. The frame is constructed of triple butted 7005 aluminum and has a carbon fiber fork to dampen some road buzz. For components Rocky choose the Shimano Sora 9 speed drivetrain, powerful Tektro alloy brakes and smooth rolling wheels.

FREE PROFESSIONAL ASSEMBLY
Each Rocky Mountain complete bike includes free professional assembly by Jenson USA. Prior to shipping your bike, we will completely build and tune it, just as we would for an in-store purchase. Then, we'll partially disassemble and carefully pack your bike for shipping. Please allow 3 business days for the bike build process prior to shipment.
When your bike arrives, it will take about 30 minutes to unpack and perform basic re-assembly tasks (such as installing the front wheel and seatpost) using common hand tools. Since I ride mainly mtb, was looking for a low low budget road bike, to help train with my spouse for her up and coming Tri event.
This bike made it a no brainer " great solid road bike for the buck", that will not be a buyers remorse. Rides good, not no-where near my wife bike, but hers is about 2k more though. So bottom line, if you looking for a solid entry level road bike this would be it. Since the only size is 51cm, which fits me really good 5'6" 29inseam.

Making the change from riding mountain bikes as a recreational exercise to competing in road competitions could not have been easier than using this bike. It rides like a cloud and you really cannot beat the price cut. An absolute bang for your buck.

Bought this road bike for trainer and run some miles on the road to build endurance. My main interest are MTBs and theres where i put higher dollars. It has similar gearset as MTbs, feels very solid for the price and it runs really good. excellent cheap bike for a beginner, training or those who dont want to spend much and get a serious geometry road bike.
