Comments about Yakima Raptor Aero Rack:
It's a great rack. Holds my 36lb drop bike with its long wheelbase very securely even when whuppin' the car around corners and over bumpy terrain.
I had to tighten everything up, test fit the bike, then loosen, fidget, re-tighten in order to get the bike to fit. But that I think you should expect.
There is a wide range of adjustment and I bet this would fit on just about any crossbar that's out there. Also you can make it work on a curved crossbar that is off-center (i.e. not horizontal) by 'ritchin the rear wheel around a bit.
My only complaint is that there is no apparent way to lock the rack to the car. Bike and rack could easily be stolen as one, even if locked. I guess I'll use a cable lock if the car is to be parked with the bike on it...
