I purchased the Royal Crown Glove to replace a pair of Pearl Izumi Gel gloves that have only lasted a few months. After spending close to $30 on the Pearl Izumis for such a short life spand I decided I was going to buy the cheapest gloves that I could find. Luckily Jenson had these on sale. I am very impressed by the simplicity of Royal Crown gloves. Given that they lack any real form of padding they feel every bit as comfortable as the Pearl Izumis did when new. The graphics look nice, the fit is good and the build quality is very good. So far the ventilation seems adequate but I wont really know until summer. My only gripe is that the wiping surface is a little small and not well placed. I find myself wiping my sweat off with portions of the glove that are covered with graphics. Overall a great full fingered glove for XC riding.

They looked alright out of the package, but there were threads already loose. First ride they started ripping before even getting to the actual trail (I think they started ripping with the thought that they would have to be worn and used). I am disappointed in JensonUSA for selling such a cruddy product and is it really worth the hassle of sending them back for $10. To deal with the shipping and getting reimbursed, come on guys, check your products over or make your return policy easier. I am frustrated since I have spent so much on JensonUSA and only needed a pair of gloves to last for a year or so. Bummed to say the least!

I bought these for the design - pull-on with no velcro tabs and simple unpadded palm. They are a little heavier and warmer than the 661 Raji - which is a similar design. My last pair of Royal gloves tore a hole in the seam quickly, but I hope these prove more durable.

I don't ask much of my gloves except that they be comfortable and cover my fingers. These do that and look nice, too.
Only complaint is the terry wipe. It is made with a large loop terry cloth and is NOT soft. I end up using the leather on the heel of the palms - softer and more absorbent. They would have done better to use the same fabric as on the back of the gloves, without the silicone graphics. Still, a minor issue, especially considering the nice price.

What a deal ! Got these this spring and have held up remarkably for an entry level glove. I bought the signature glove and these because neither have velcro closures and the crowns outlasted the signatures that cost more.
