Comments about SRAM Guide and Avid Trail Brake Pads:

I do it a lot of downhill and trail riding and I was going through two or three sets of organic pads a season but these pads are still thick and have not lost any of their performance(fading, no excessive brake dust) it's nice to know you can rely on them when you need them!

Metallic pads grab stronger and with the dust can be little noisy but only when feathering the brakes.

Comments about SRAM Guide and Avid Trail Brake Pads:

Although avid/sram brakes come with organic/resin pads, I always swap them out right away for metal/sintered pads. These pads work very well and last a reasonable amount of time. I would give five stars if the price were better or they lasted a bit longer. Can't really go wrong with these pads.

I found them super easy to install, very small break in period. They were recommended by a Pro rider. Had organic ones but imo they don't stop as good.

Yes. I have both the Guide RSC and XO trails. Good that I don't need to buy different kinds.
