Comments about SRAM PC-1091R 10SPD Hollowpin Chain:

I stretch out chains constantly. Nine months is all I get out of any chain, any brand. Over the years, I've snapped three - but not one of these,..yet. That means I've installed over 50 chains. The PowerLink makes installation so much easier than competing brands. That's why I'm a repeat customer for SRAM.

Comments about SRAM PC-1091R 10SPD Hollowpin Chain:

This chain has been a wonderful addition to my mountain bike. I used to experience skipping and shifting difficulty with my old chain. I am not a little guy and was having problems when I would crank uphill. Since swapping chains, I have had no issues. I will be putting the 9-speed version on my 26er that I am upgrading.

Comments about SRAM PC-1091R 10SPD Hollowpin Chain:

This chain has been through the following conditions: Very dry (loose over hard packed) trails, moderate rock gardens and heavy mud (once). So far, the chain is holding up. I lube the chain after every 3 rides and clean it thoroughly maybe once a month. The Powerlock can only be used once, though. I'm sure the model below this one would work just as good. It'll save you a few $$ as well.

Comments about SRAM PC-1091R 10SPD Hollowpin Chain:

THis chain has performed very well. I enjoy the shifting and durability. Cleaning every few rides and all is well. I am not pleased with SRAM's warning that you cannot reuse the 10-Speed links and I am too much of a sissy to test that notion.
