The straps and adjustable clip make my feet feel secure with no play inside "I LikA LotA"

Oh yes the inside sole can be taken out, there is two Black Felcro strips on the other side like I have shown in the photo.

I've used these shoes 5 times and already ripped a hole in the toe box, right through the "tough" black plastic toe area. These are severely lacking in durability, especially in the toe area. I'm generally quite gentle on equipment so I was surprised these shoes did not last. Otherwise, they were stiff, light and comfortable. I wish I could recommend them, but even at the clearance price they aren't worth it. At least they got destroyed quick enough that I can send them back to Jenson with their great return policy.

Comments about Giro Code MTB Shoes 2012:

I've logged hundreds of off road miles in these shoes, and I can't think of a single complaint. I've owned many brands of shoes for road and mtb riding. These have been my favorites. After a year of use, I can't believe how well they've held up. I would definitely recommend these to anyone interested. They are true to size, and they fit a little snug if you have a medium width foot.

These shoes are great. They were a perfect fit as first. Now for some reason they feel half a size too small. Very durable and light. I would buy them again.

Comments about Giro Code MTB Shoes 2012:

Got the pair when older shimnao mid level CX/MTB shoes started falling part after few yaers of use. Older shoes no longer good for CX racing anymore but good for other non intenseive uses. Needed CX/MTB racing shoes. Big upgrade from I had before being stiffer, puts the power down, and comforatble. As a bouns they come with arch surpports alreday for the three surport levels under the footbed and toe spikes for racing with wrench to get them on/off. After breaking them in over week they are one best cycling shoes I have had. Note: go a half size up than what use as this model tends to run small 46 shimano to 46.5 giro.

Comments about Giro Code MTB Shoes 2012:

These are perfect, fit is true for me at 10.5US. Lightweight, maybe too stiff if you do a lot of coffee shop hopping, but I have no trouble walking/climbing in these. They have held up very well on trails and commuting. The softer rubber on the bottoms are almost slip-proof, though I suspect that enough pavement time will wear them down. Going strong for over a year now. I have completely forgotten about all of my past shoes.

I have been having some issues with the interface of these shoes and my Time ATAC pedals/cleats. I'm not sure if it's the shoe, pedal, or cleat, but there is some play between them.

They are too comfortable to abandon, so I will endure the extra 'float'.
