    Comments about Yakima Frontloader:

This rack is my best purchase to date. I had a hitch mount as well but it rubbed my frame through the paint to bare metal. This rack is easy to mount, well-built, sturdy, doesn't touch my frame, and very secure. It fits all types of crossbars and from 20" wheels to 29ers. Great versatility. Going to have to order another for my wife's bike. Highly recommend, good job Yakima!

Love how easy it was to install on factory jeep bars. 2 small gripes, didnt include locks, additional $35, and the rear wheel brackey can easily be stolen so I take it off now when parked.

        Comments about Yakima Frontloader:

Use the bike rack on top of our 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan. The rack installed perfect on the stock rails so no extra parts were required. The day after I bought it, we drove 1200 miles with a 27.5" bike on it and it had some normal bike wobbles but did just fine. Then on the way back home I had to put a 29" in it and once again worked perfect. Great rack and very very happy with it!

            Comments about Yakima Frontloader:

I had looked at other car-top bike carriers for my Subaru, but I know the Yakima name is one of the best out there for the money
I could not be happier with this piece. I've used it for a few local trips/rides, but got to put it through a real test when I did a 3500 mile cross country trip. Across the windy and rainy flyover states, the Yakima held tight to my Cannondale 29er.
I did purchase the lock kit separately for added security, too.
If you want a carrier that accepts a whole host of bike frame and tire sizes without grabbing onto the frame itself, THIS is the one to get!

            Comments about Yakima Frontloader:

I really like these racks. I bought two and don't always keep them on the car as I use the cross bars for other things. I can mount both racks and load two bikes in under five minutes. I added sks lock cores and feel that everything secures well. I did have one of the end caps fall off while I was driving but that doesn't affect the performance. My wife and I are short people and I'm just tall enough at 5'6" to safely load the bikes. My wife at 5'2" has a hard time getting them on our Jetta. Overall I'm really happy with my purchase and would go the same route again.

This rack fit perfectly on our Subaru Outback factory cross bars and holds the bike very firm. Little to no wind noise unless there is a bad cross wind. This would be a great value is you didn't have to buy the locks seperately.

Easy to install on factory bars. This is the first bike rack i've owned, so nothing to compare it to. But, only having it a couple of weeks has changed my life.
