Confidence on demand
Being my first Shimano brakes I've owned I was quite skeptical about them since, I grew so accustomed to Sram style brakes. I wasn't sure how the modulation would be I knew they were going to have greater stopping capabilities but, how much? After riding these brakes in all different weather conditions they didn't lack confidence. Mocked up with the Ice tech rotors and a Sram centerline they were quiet, subtle, and didn't lack in braking whether water or mud got in them. This also is also applied towards dusty dry conditions as well. In addition, the brake pads last as long as any other pads I've owned. This will also obviously correspond to what riding you do as well.
Riding only Enduro, DH, bike park style the modulation stayed consistent, they're lever feel at first is very progressive and linear if you're feathering them. However, when you need them most they resemble a Sram brake on how they are on or off which I like and am most accustomed too.
The lever itself has good ergonomics and I like the dimpling they incorporated in the lever itself for added grip. They are a little bit on the short side for length than what I'm used to but, I gradually grew into them.
Bleeding the brakes are straight forward as everyone has said and I like the fact that its mineral oil not damaging any paint on the bike. The Hydraulic line is long but, shortening them is an easy process to make it just right for your bike.
Overall, these brakes have performed great in any situation either on a muddy DH race or a day on singletrack and I got them on sale so you can't beat that.

Powerful Brakes for the Price
I bought a set of these brakes to replace a set of Hayes Stroker Trails. WOW, they are awesome! Installation was easy. When bleeding the brakes, you don't have to worry about the oil eating the paint if you spill a drop. When you pair the brakes with the Ice Tech rotors, they are almost impossible to overheat. The only gripe I have is that replacement pads are expensive. Especially the ones with the heat fin.

PROS: 4 Piston, Easy To Install, Uses Mineral Oil, Great stopping power, Looks good

CONS: Brake Pads Are Spendy

BEST USES: Downhill, Enduro, all mountain, MTB

Shimano Zee. 5 Stars
Very tough, powerful quad piston brakes. Makes braking over the course of long, steep descents much easier with the power these brakes provide from a relaxed lever pull. easy to bleed and an amazing price. far more powerful than XTs, and way cheaper and offer the same trail performance as Saints.

Great Brakes. Great Value
Bought these brakes for front and rear on a recent bike build and I couldn't be happier with them. They were easy to bleed (after cutting cable length) Certainly helps by bleeding them OFF the bike before you fit them. Once bled they have amazing stopping power for the price and they look really nice. They also came with the ice-tech pads included and not the cheaper standard pads. Great value indeed. As usual JensonUSA made the purchase very easy and headache free....

PROS: Durable, Look Awesome, Easy To Install, Attractive Design

Why would I want Saints?
Awesome break, it is a bit confusing Ispec-A and B, but other than that they are the same. They work awesome, and are not the price of the saints. Why would I ever need saints?

Combines with Ice Tech rotors they work awesome in our hot and dry conditions.

PROS: Lever Ergonomics, price, Lever Reach, Modulation, Power, Mineral Oil

CONS: Paint scratches easily

Same Power and Feel As Saints
After installing Saints on my first two Enduro bikes, and on my current DH bike, I decided to save some money and buy the Zees for my current All Mountain/Enduro bike.
They're basically Saints, but without the tool-free reach adjust, and contact adjustment that doesn't exist on the Saints either, despite there being a adjustment screw(with loc-tite on it..go figure).
I paid $600 for the Saints with rotors, and paid a little less than $400 for the Zee's with the same rotors(Ice Tech). It's a fricken no-brainer, and I wish I would've bought Zee's instead of my other Saints.

PROS: Excellent Threshold Feel, Relatively inexpensive, Excellent Feel, Basically Cheaper Saints, Excellent stopping power

CONS: No Saint Tool-less Reach, Need Tools To Adjust Reac

BEST USES: Downhill, All Mountainenduro

Zee brakes
The Shimano Zee brake set doe not have the activation pressure/ click into place feeling that I get from other Shimano brakes which I like a lot. These brakes also provide room for modulation while being able to lock them up when necessary. Much more powerful than my Guide R's in DH settings.

All the power I need
These brakes are awesome. They have plenty of stopping power, but are not sticky as I thought they might be. Easy to apply light, smooth breaking, but if you grab a handful hang on, because they will stop you VERY quickly.

PROS: Plenty Of Cable, Looks great, Easy To Install, Smooth, LOTS OF POWER

CONS: None so far

Zee Brakes are zee bomb!
These were easy to install. The brakes must be bled because Shimano guys that test these are checking a box. Besides, get used to bleeding brakes to keep them in top working order (no sponginess).

PROS: Easy To Install, Durable

CONS: Must Bleed After Install
