Okay helmet
This helmet is okay but not great. Definitely a "buy it on sale" kind of item.

It fits (me) well, and is fairly well made.

It has some major shortcomings:

Firstly, ventilation is a joke on this helmet. If you look under the lining, the big external air vents on top taper down into holes a quarter in in diameter- they are mainly cosmetic instead of functional.

Secondly, the strap and D-ring combination is a real pain in the rear on this helmet. Some D-ring helmets are still easy to take off and off (e.g. Spec Deviant) but the stiff strap on the T2 mades it a gloves-off affair to put on.

PROS: Comfortable Fit, Looks good, Cheap

CONS: No Ventilation, D-ring Buckle Is Clumsy

First Hand Crash Results
I want to start off by saying that I have been an avid biker (both bicycle and motorcycle) for most of my life which is about 35+ years. Coming from a BMX background my transition from BMX into mountain biking was inevitable. Over the last year I have been getting more involved with free ride and downhill mountain biking. So about 8 months ago I started collecting a good amount of armor and head gear to match the style of riding that I was getting into. It's one thing to do a casual XC loop around some easy or even some more challenging trails in basic head gear, shorts and maybe some pads but it's completely different to go screaming down a hill that has high berms, dirt jumps, rock gardens AND THICK TREES throughout.
I bought this helmet on a recommendation from another friend of mine who though it was a steal based on the price. When I received the helmet and tried it on the medium fit was right on, however, compared to my full face street motorcycle helmet this helmet felt and looked a little small on the outside. My friend said that it was fine and for what I wanted to use it for it was perfect. Also if you are going to add a neck brace the fit was perfect. So… fast forward to last week, I have been training for the last month for my first Enduro race. As I was coming down one of the runs slated for the race I came upon a portion of the track that had a small jump that put you right into a left handed berm and if you hit the jump just right you can land on the berm and pump right out of it. I have done this before only this time I must have come in at a wrong angle. When I landed on the berm my front tire "washed out" down the berm to the left thus making me fall to the right that put my face on a collision course with a nice thick tree directly behind this low profile berm. I went full force and face first into that tree. At least that's what my friends said because I don't remember the actual impact not to mention the red paint from the helmet that marked where I hit.
Sorry for the ongoing story… however here is my review. This helmet saved my life! Upon impact it completely "egg shelled" around my head. At the speed I was going an open face would have ended me. NOT BEING DRAMATIC! Now, I did get knocked out for a few seconds and sustained a slight concussion, whiplash and a few scratches on my nose and forehead. However, I got the opportunity to WALK out of the hospital's emergency unit a few hours later. Banged up but none the less walking. Thanks to this helmet.
Quality helmets work and this one saved my life. So… that's my review. By the way I have pictures to go with all of this (Tree, helmet and face). For the price this helmet did what it was supposed to do.

Awsome price
The inside of the helmet looks like something out of a sports car and I swear I can feel a breeze at times. It doesn't get uncomfortably hot and it's so light you forget you have a helmet on

T2 Review
I purchased this after buying a THE point5 helmit. I measured 24 inches around at the recommended point. The Large point5 was still too big. So when i went to pick up a med they didn't have any in the color I wanted. This was on sale at a similar price and I can say it was worth the extra $10. It's a much nicer helmet with leather on around the base which is very comfortable. The fit is very snug but has few pressure points. Good breath-ability. Sadly I can't comment on ventilation due to injury. My only qualm is the chin gaurd feels very close to my face but that's not much of an issue. The included bag is also a nice touch. I'm not sure if it was mentioned but you also get an extra visor in with the box. Wasn't expecting that. Over all a pretty sweet helmet

PROS: Comfortable Fit, Tough, Lightweight, Good Ventilation

CONS: Chin Gaurd Feels Close

BEST USES: Long Rides, Downhilling, Mountain Biking

Lightweight and very comfortable!
I had a crash earlier on, and got whacked in the face by a fence post. I was hesitant about getting back on the trails, but decided to shop for a full-face helmet. This is my first one, and it is awesome. Love the attention to detail. Fits my head perfectly, and the chin strap is very comfortable. The composite materials makes this helmet light, almost as light as my other cycling helmet!

a great qua helmet at an excellent price
This is a really nice and top quality helmet, up there with the best from TLD, Fox etc. It comes with a spare visor and carry bag which is a nice touch.

Sizes do seem to run small, I ordered a medium which is what I've used from fox, specialized, giro etc. And it was to small so go for a size up.

Comfortale and fitted for max protection
The THE T2 runs COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to the T5. A small size in T2 is not even xsmall in the T5. I went to the store personally. Im wearing a small in T2 and the xsmall T5 is very lose and feels not safe at all. Probably if you are a medium in T5 you might want a xsmall in T2.

I love this lid!
This is my downhill helmet. After having it for over a year now, I have yet to have a hard impact on it (please bless I never do). It is a helmet I WANT to wear while riding, not HAVE to wear because I'm riding.
