Comments about Easton EA90 XC UST 26" Wheel 2012:

Upgraded to these because my ghetto-rigged tubeless rims were not working. They make my bike look brand new! The hubs are quiet but I kind of like that. Biggest thing I've noticed is the very smooth ride. Easy to put on the bike. Tubeless tires are always a pain but maybe that's because I got 2.35's. They fit great but took a little muscle.

Comments about Easton EA90 XC UST 26" Wheel 2012:

I'm 240lbs and these have held up well to my weight. They have stayed true and don't flex that I can tell on hard cornering so I call it a win. They are light and roll easy and were a huge upgrade. Plus tubeless is excellent. I've been riding tubeless for 4 years now and love not having flats.

Comments about Easton EA90 XC UST 26" Wheel 2012:

What an amazing price from Jenson! These wheels had the upgraded bearing spacer kit installed already. I have really enjoyed riding with these wheels and Kenda Nevegal tires at 25psi (I am 150lbs kitted up). The difference in grip and general ride is very noticeable. The wheels are lightweight, but running full UST tires somewhat negates the weight savings. The wheels look great and have stayed true. One thing to note is that I did have side to side play in the rear wheel right out of the box. It has taken about 100 miles of riding and some bearing tightening to finally resolve the issue. If you have a chain whip and a sprocket tool, as well as a 20mm cone wrench and 12mm hex key then the adjustment takes 10 minutes each time. Kind of a pain but for me not enough to deduct a star. If you are relying on a LBS to set up your wheels, these adjustments would get tiresome, and expensive. Full UST makes me very comfortable. I have had no burping issues at 25psi and tires mount with a floor pump (just pull the tire bead from the center of the rim and seat it half to two third on both sides). I have no concerns with the wheels strength and run 2.1 inch tires.

Love the wheel, how they rides and look. Having issue with folding tubeless setup? No sure if a compressor is necessary or not, but it does not inflate. works only with tube for now? Will try again later.

Comments about Easton EA90 XC UST 26" Wheel 2012:

Very strong rim for the category. Same components as the haven line with the exception of the narrower rim width. Only draw back is that cassette's eat at the free hub spines under hard forces being that its made of soft alum. The price to pay for lightweight wheels. Great for trail ridding and xc racing would not take it for all mountain for the simple fact that 2.1 tires are about max for the wheel.

These scream quality. As wellas looking amazing they perform brilliantly also. Once i had them on i span the front wheel and i didnt think it was ever going to stop spinning. The handling of my bike change instantly having taken 1.3 pounds of my bike. At the current price too, snap them up whilst you can.
