The open and aggressive tread design gives the High Roller II excellent soil penetration and mud clearing ability.  A square profile provides a solid, consistent feel across the knobs.  Modified knobs on the shoulder and center improve braking performance and traction on hard surfaces.  When gravity pulls you downhill, rely on the High Roller II to keep you upright.

This is a big, high-air-volume casing, yet still fairly light thanks to the foldable bead, ideal for today's long-travel 5 and 6" trailbikes.

Great tire

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

I bought the High Roller II to replace a worn out rear tire on my trail bike. Thought it would be overkill but its working out perfectly. Carves really nice but the big difference is on steeper loose, sandy, rooty climbs. This tire digs and doesn't spin out.

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

I was very happy with the older 2.4 version because it was a very large volume tyre, with that said this newer version is noticeably smaller.

mounted with ease, and has improved cornering. handles very well in rough and steep conditions. predictable.

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

Bought this in order to beef up my tires for a Moab/Fruita trip. Was running Ardent in both the front (2.4) and back (2.25). Tried the HR II in back - was impressed with the traction in loose / rocky terrain, but definitely felt the rolling resistance relative to a 2.25 Ardent. Put the HR II in front, and Ardent in back - mush better combination for me. Always go with the Exo as well.

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

I used to ride with a Maxxis Ardent and recently changed it for this one. It's simply an amazing Tire. It gets more stability and a better traction in cornering. I love this tire.

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

This is my second purchase of this tire. I bought a set for my 29" trail bike and loved them. This set was for my 26" hardtail bike. The are easy to install tubeless (using on DT Swiss rims) with Stans No Tubes. For the much we have in Georgia because of the rain, this tire is really grippy and gives me a lot of confidence. I can't say how it would perform on dry or rocky conditions as I have not tried them. I will buy more of these in the future.

Comments about Maxxis High Roller II Exo 26" Fold Tire:

Have used these tires in both damp and loose/silty conditions, tires handled both terrains brilliantly. Updated High Roller tread design improves braking control in the loose. Love having a folding side wall and this tire goes above with the EXO side wall that doesn't fold over in the turns. Love the 2.4 width also.
