Been looking to build an all rounder/adventure bike. Something I could ride to the trails, and then ride some dirt and back home.

These tire fits the bill perfectly.

I have them mounted on a rigid 1991 Trek 8000, and it is perfect for pavement, gravel, fire roads, and smooth single track.

I have them inflated to the maximum recomended pressure of 65 PSI, so one of the downsides is that on rocky decents the ride is harsh. It's beyond harsh. They'll really beat you up (espcially since I'm riding fully rigid).

They also don't like sand. and, when climbing you need to stay seated unless it is hard pack or asphalt as they'll slip.

They grip surpsingly well everywhere else. On my local singletrack and at SRP, I really don't even know I'm on a skinny tire. And, they are FAST.

Bought these for a Road/Offroad Ride. The front tire cleared fine but not the back due to the height of the tire. (Specialized Roubaix W/rim brakes) They are directional but looking at the tread, it seemed wrong. I tried it both ways and the direction arrow was correct. Seemed to roll easier. I couldn't get them to seal tubeless. I double flatted while testing so I ended up using my Mt Bike instead w/Thunder Burts. The tires might have been ok because the event had far fewer rocks than what I was testing on, just didn't want to chance it w/tubes. Would recommend w/disc brakes

I haven't used these very much so far. I am pleased to say they filled the niche I was looking for. We are taking a trip to a recovered rail bed trail, and a paved path for labor day. After large amount of searching, I found these tires and was very pleased to see that the fit our road bikes, saving us from needed to haul a second set of bikes. They seem to be well built and on par with normal Kenda quality.

              Comments about Kenda Kwick Tire:

I've had these on my bike for like 7 years. I'm just now about to replace them for good. No, I don't ride thousands of miles a year, but I ride regularly in summer. Mostly commuting, some trails and a few times on gnarly Montana singletrack. Obviously, these tires are not designed for intense all mountain riding, but they got me through some tough rides. They slip out on loose material and they don't climb the best. They're fairly thin and easy to puncture. The sidewalls held up well and are finally showing weather wear. For commuting they're nice and fast, but there are probably more durable tires that are just as good for that.

I bought these to put on my road bike that I use for training on gravel roads. Great grip on hardpack. Just enough clearance but it is a really tight fit!

                  Comments about Kenda Kwick Tire:

This tire is not durable enough to use as a training tire on road and gravel. It hooks up fine in singletrack and on cross courses. I will be keeping them just for cross races and buying tougher training tires because of the flats I have gotten.

                  Comments about Kenda Kwick Tire:

For my normal type of riding (hardpack rail trails) this is THE tire! It rolls faster than anything I have tried but still provides enough traction to feel secure. Loose wet stuff is the downfall, the tire is squirrelly on wet pine needles, wet clay, and deep gravel/sand.My normal trail is serious *hardpack*, screenings over railbed which is like concrete with a dusting of gravel. Part of the American Tobacco Trail is more like a dirt road and the Kwicks still grip well here as long as it is dry. For damp conditions I use Kozmik Lites but the Kwicks allow me to go one gear higher (even accounting for the difference in diameter).
