Comments about Maxxis 700C Padrone Tubeless Tire:

I moved from the Hutchinson, primarily based on availability. I never went back, and am on my third set of Padrones. I had two flats in two years on the Hutchinson, I have yet to flat on a Padrone after two years. Regardless of the tire choice, road tubeless is the way to go.

Comments about Maxxis 700C Padrone Tubeless Tire:

Running these tires on Shimano DA C24TL wheels/Cervelo R5. Ride approx 6-7,000 mi annually. Fantastic tires. I've ridden every TL road tire over the last 6 years and these are the best combination of weight, grip, ease of setup and durability. Way better than Hutch F3s. At least 2x the mileage, maybe more from the Maxxis. The Schwalbe Ultremo is close, but tougher to mount/seat. I live in FL and the heat seems to degrade the Hutch tires fast. No issues with the Padrones. Work well on Stan's Alpha 340 wheels also. (Get the Shimano wheels; stiffer and easier to work with+better bearings.)
