These tires (in the 2.1 size) came on my '08 Giant Trance X. I am still on the original tires which have about 2000 miles on them. They are pretty worn out now but have held up well. I do a lot of riding on a crushed limestone rail trail in addition to singletrack riding and the rail trail surface really eats the soft tread on these tires. For the first year or so I was getting flats from thorns constantly with these tires but in the past year (on the same trails) I have gotten almost none, so who knows...though a friend got a small, dull twig through his UST Nevegal once and had another delaminate. The tires have pretty terrible rolling resistance but they do grip well on the trails. At first I was stuck on the high rolling resistance and the propensity to grab thorns and didn't like the tires but now they have grown on me and have held up well.

I owened several in 2.1. This tire is probaly the best around for wet roots and rocks. That said i've repaced it for the most part for a few reasons;
It rolls SLOW, no SLOWER than your thinking.
Sidewalls too thin.
I've found better cornering tires that are faster.

Besides bikes and trails dont like to be ridden sloppy.

        Comments about Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 26" Tire:

        There are so many variations of Nevegal, it can be a little confusuing! I prefer the rolled rubber bead over the wire bead, as it's easier to install and lighter. The Stick-E versions have fabulous grip, but wear quickly if on the back wheel. I use Stick-E on the front, and Dual Tread Compound (DTC) on the back. The DTC version has a more durable rubber in the center where most of the wear occurs, and the awesome Stick-E on the edges for when you're cornering. It's a good compromise. I have used Nevegals in every possible trail condtion (rocky, muddy, roots, gravel, slickrock, hard pack dirt, tacky dirt etc), and they always perform. If you only have one set of tires, Nevegal should be that set. Even if you're the guy who has multipe sets of wheels with differnt tires for each trail condition...one of your wheel sets should have Nevegals (and it will probably be the set of wheels you use the most).

          Comments about Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 26" Tire:

          I gave this a three star rating because I have only had the tires a few weeks. Based on the time I have had them I will say this: they are nice looking tires. I went with 26x2.5 foldable front and rear. And I am using them for all mountain type riding. They are very grippy, I love the tread design, and immediately my ride seem to soften due to the compound of the tire. I got a great deal on them and will be putting on the miles into the winter so time will give the real story on these.

            Comments about Kenda Nevegal Stick-E 26" Tire:

            Needed some new tread and typically ride panaracer xc fires. I have purchased new tread in quite a while and was shocked how much more expensive panaracers were than when I had purchased them in the past. Decided since I was going to be paying 30is per tire I would check some reviews out. Grabbed two of the nevegals and so far so good. I have a few rides on them now in dry hard pack conditions with occasional soft soil areas. pretty impressed with these so far.
