The SLX FC-M660 crankset for is designed for Dyna-Sys, Shimano's new 10-speed drivetrain. The goal of Dyna-Sys is to provide the rider with an intuitive gear combination which then translates to more efficient use of power being delivered to the rear wheel. The secret of Dyna-Sys is the 32-tooth Primary Driving Gear which lets riders get the most out of modern suspension designs.

These cranks are a great deal here. I use them on two of my bikes, one is the dyna sys 10 speed setup and the other is a Mega 9 9 speed setup. Cranks work great on both bikes. I like how these cranks look too.

Strong stiff and suprisingly light,It is a lot of quality crank for a very small price. The crankset looks good and you can tell it is made well just by looking at it.
only 40 grams heavier than the XT due to the steel inner chainring. Stiff and strong
