GT Bikes Fury 3.0 2013 Bike

Since day one GT has been no stranger to Downhill successes due to their longstanding position as the leader of Downhill technology. Rachel and Gee Atherton proved this as they took a double World Cup victory at Fort William, which only points out one of the more recent successes… there has been many more before, and will be many more to come. GT has made an addition to their family with the Fury Alloy series, which greatly broadens GT’s spectrum of Downhill bikes while integrating the latest Downhill technology to prove why GT is still ahead.

The Fury Alloy 3.0 is easy to handle and just about bomb-proof. The core of this machine is constructed of Monocoque XM Metal™ aluminum with a 210mm Travel Independent Drivetrain ™ suspension system with forged pivots, promising an invigorating combination of rollover ability and agility. You’ll ooze confidence with RockShox Domain R Dual Crown fork up front, with 200mm of travel (with adjustable rebound) and a 20x110mm thru axle for maximum strength and stiffness. In the rear the Fury Alloy 3.0 sports the Fox Vanilla R with adjustable rebound and spring preload.

As remorseless as Downhill biking can be, GT knows there can be zero compromise on quality components, which is why GT equipped the Fury Alloy 3.0 with a race ready SRAM X.5 rear derailleur and shifter (right side) with X-Glide shifting that will take you to the next level. The wheels on this bad boy are built using Alex DUS30 rims; with All Terra alloy sealed bearings hubs and DT Swiss Factory stainless spokes to provide unparalleled durability that can withstand high speed impacts. Riding a bike under the mercy of gravity requires the best stopping power; therefore Avid Elixir 3 disc brakes are utilized for comfort, control and reliability. Whether you're dusting the competition in a weekend race, or it's a long day of battling rock gardens, roots, berms or air, the Fury Alloy 3.0 is suited for pure enjoyment!

Comments about GT Bicycles GT Bikes Fury 3.0 2013 Bike:

Great DHMB. Can't find a better price. It was a simple build once I received the bike. Thanks to the bronze level assembly, I had this bike out of the box and built in 30 minutes for my son to enjoy.

Comments about GT Bicycles GT Bikes Fury 3.0 2013 Bike:

Best bike I've ever had or ridden. More assembly than I thought, was easier than I thought. Had it out of the box and rode back to work within an hour. Only thing I didn't like, saddle, I think it's very good, just I had one I like better and I switched out the bars for my Easton havoc, tiny bit smaller. Love this bike, just great. And the iDrive is awesome, I ride this bike everyday to work. It's my commuter bike. I have a blast with this bike every day.
