The Izalco Pro 1.0 is designed to be a pure racing-dominating machine! Both the frame and fork are constructed of Izalco Team Carbon keeping the core of this bike lightweight and stiff like a pro level bike should be. The Izalco frame features a race proven geometry that is both responsive and efficient making it a great choice for crit and stage racing. The Izalco Pro 1.0 comes equipped with Shimano’s highly sought after Dura-Ace component system that brings a flawless blend of control, comfort, and functionality for the highest performing outfit offered by Shimano. The Dura-Ace components include the rear derailleur and shifters for effortlessly-precise shifting, along with the brakes and brake levers that offer smooth, powerful braking with excellent modulation and low weight.
With Shimano Dura-Ace mounting itself to a machine such as the Izalco Pro 1.0, you might be hard pressed to find equal excitement elsewhere on the bike. That is until you notice the Rotor 3D crankset! The Rotor 3D crankset offers utilizes a special manufacturing process, called the “Trinity Drilling System,” which is an extruded aluminum bar that is elaborately CNC machined with three drilled holes through the length of the crank. The result is a unique triple hollow crank arm that enables Rotor’s engineers to remove excess aluminum in the core while still maintaining the structural strength of the crank. The compact crank arrangement is ideal for high-cadence riders who are easily seduced by skward sloping roads.
There is zero compromise on the rest of the build, as Concept PX and 3T make up the cockpit, while the Prologo Nago Evo saddle is certain to keep you comfortable, yet agile as you throw a knee into the corner, while also being lightweight. The Fulcrum WH-CEX 4.5 wheelset offers speed and confidence without skimping on durability and versatility. Where the bike meets the pavement, Focus went with their German compatriot Continental Grand Prix tires which use the very popular black chili compound for more grip, less rolling resistance and a longer tire life. This combination of cutting edge technology and impressive build quality make the Izalco Pro 1.0 an exceptional choice for the striving racer looking to add some palmares to under their name!
