This rack is solid. Keeps bike secure and away from vehicle. Breaks down for easy storage. Seems like one of the more expensive racks but worth the money especially with Saris lifetime warranty. Never had a problem with it in the 2+ years I've owned it.
I was looking for a bike rack to carry two bikes on the back of my 2010 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan. I first tried two different bike racks prior to purchaing the Saris 801 Bones 3 Bike Rack and they did not work to carry my mountain bike and my son's hybrid bike. I read about the Saris 801 Bones 3 Bike Rack on the Internet. This bike rack was worth spending a little more money. I have used it several times to carry both bikes. At first it took me a while to figure out how to fit both bikes so that I would have them on the two positions closest to my car. I am very satisfied with the my purchase and the way it looks on my car.
I've been using this rack for a couple years and it's held up well. I can install it in less than a minute, so I just leave it on. It fits my Camry well and I've seen it on everything from cars to SUV's. I've taken bikes on the interstate with out any problems. I haven't had luck putting three bikes on this rack. They can fit but it's very tight and I worry about bumping derailleurs and other parts out of alignment so I usually only put two bike on.
