Best trail tire ever!
Seriously - if you want something that provides amazing, reliable traction, this tire is it. No, it's not light and doesn't roll fast, but that's not my primary concern when I'm out trail riding. This thing hooks up on rocks, loose kitty-litter-over-hardpack, soft loam, roots - I've yet to find conditions where I'd want any other tire I've tried.

Amazing traction on corners. Very sturdy and looks great. Not an easy install but it's worth the effort.

Great tire, very happ
Purchased this for a front tire on my new 29er. Very happy with it for the conditions in my area. Tire is true to size, corners great at high speed and the snakeskin has a beefy sidewall that seems like it will hold up to the worst of conditions.

Would highly recommend

Durable, Very Heavy Front Tire
No doubt this tire will stand-up to punctures and abuse, however going from my stock tire to this Super Gravity tire on my front wheel, it is a night and day weight difference. Bike is very front heavy now and wheelies are significantly harder to initiate. I'm sure this is something I'll get used to over time, however this feels like it's an extra pound or more added to the front of the bike.

Great tire that rolls really fast. I was surprised how agile it was but the grip is much better than the Hans I had up front. It is not as wide as the Hans 2.35 is though, it is a bit thinner by 3mm, you can tell easily.

Great front tire
Great aggressive tire for the CO trails. No more front tire washout! Setup tubeless with Stans and was super easy. First time doing this. If a shop sets you up to be tubeless you still have a tube they just seal the rim. Be sure to check this. Was dragging around a tube and liner!

What is the difference between super g & the snakeskin? Thanks in advance
A shopper on Aug 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The SG is 4 ply on the sides, it's used predominantly for enduro racing, they are pretty rugged though weigh about 300g more each and you will feel it. If your riding is of a more civilian nature, then the snakeskin is a solid choice for most people. I run snakeskin on my AM bike, and use the SG for racing here in the CO BME series. YMMV
Is the Magic Marry best as a front or rear tire?
A shopper on Apr 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It's best as a front tire. The compound is softer (Schwalbe's Trail Star rather than the harder Pace Star) so it's grippy, but would wear out fairly quickly on the back. It's also just overkill for a rear tire and would offer a lot of rolling resistance. That said, it's the best front tire I've ever used in rocky and loose-over-hardpack conditions.
