Excellent tires for getting to work or extended bike tours. The rubber has the right combination of traction verses rolling resistance and the tread is good for 95% pavement; 5% trail/dirt.

Great value. Very satisfied. Great commuter tire. I would recommend these to anyone using them for commuting or long tours but choose a lighter higher pressure tice for serious road biking.

I have noticed a significant decrease in rolling resistance as well as an increase in acceleration. I was going back and forth between these and the Continental Sport Contacts. I am glad I purchased these as they seem to have longer lasting tread regardless of the 100 gram weight difference in favor of the Continentals. For the 4-5 days per week I ride to commute 5 miles to work in addition to the recreational rides i take they do great. Either way they are a much higher scale tire than the Bontragers that came with the bike. I am not saying they turn your MTB into a road bike...but they will do great until you can buy a road bike or just get another set of wheels to go between commuter and MTB quickly. Solid choice to make it easier to ride your MTB on the road without breaking the bank. Highly recommend you warm the tires or use soapy water somehow before mounting due to the study casing. I did it by leaving them in my car during a hot day, big help.

I have used the 26 X 1.5 tires for commuting and medium distance road rides (50 miles or less) including some dirt roads. I have ridden over loads of glass, goat-heads, and road debris. I thought I was "taking a chance" by not ordering one of Schwalbe's more puncture resistant tires, but I have had no flats so far. They have exceeded my expectations, and I don't think I'll ever buy another tire besides Schwalbe.

Best tire I've ever ridden on. I've used these for commuting and touring for many years and they still don't show much wear. I love the smooth, quiet ride and great traction on gravel or wet conditions. The reflective sidewall is a really cool safety bonus.
