It is an absolute dream to ride. I tried it on hardpack - rolls great and grips 2 times better than Nevegal(Nevegal being knoby /gripy tire), on sandy terain - parts of the trail have a real nasty and deep sand and I was able to control my bike like with no other tire (except in combination with Hans Dampf), in wet it sheds mud, grips and it just responds awesomely. I just wish that I was able to get 29x2.35 for this price BUT this tire gives more than I can ask for.
It doubled my confidence and helped me climb a hill I gave up on almost a year ago.

These tires came new on my Giant Trance X 29er. They handle very well, but I ended up with sidewall punctures right above the knobs on both tires in 31 miles of trail riding the first time I took the new bike out. Never had this problem with other tires on the same trail system. They had to save weight somewhere, so they made the sidewalls very thin. If there are thorns and any kind of small pointy twigs along the trail they will find their way into the sidewalls of these tires sooner or later. If you find yourself getting tired from lots of hill climbing, you will get a break sooner or later when you have to stop and fix a flat with these tires. Not good though when there are feral hogs wandering the trail system. I prefer to stay on the move.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29" Tire:
Bought these nobby nics for my Trek 29er. I ride XC trail over the usualy rocks, roots, mud, and what have you. These tires are awesome! I don't slide out of turns, I hardly ever get flats, I just tear it up!! I would recommend these for anyone who rides off road.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29" Tire:
Good all around tire for where I do most of my riding. Has a predictable feel and I find that I can lean these through the turns aggressively. Great traction for climbing and braking. I had a little trouble getting them to seat at first, but it was more my fault than the tires, and the rims could have had something to do with it as well. I have installed these tires on my other bike and they went on perfectly and sealed well. They seem to ware well.

These tires seem to really grip the hard packed, lightly sandy trails around Boise

Great tire, especially for the loose and sandy trails in my area. Replaced a stock sworks in the front and it feels like a different bike now.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29" Tire:
Good quality tire, easy to mount and seal tubeless. No pinholes or weeps on the sidewalls. Pretty light for the size and toughness. I've ridden them fast and hard for about 60 miles now on rocky, loose over hard, and hard-pack trails and there are no signs of wear - the knob edges are still sharp. Not the best at climbing, braking or cornering, but seems to be a pretty good balance of all of those. Maybe the higher thread-count (more expensive) version is a step-up in performance. I won't know until I wear these out and cough-up the extra cash for the top-tier model.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29" Tire:
Used to run light weight front tires with very little tread to try and get an edge on my fast buddies where ever I could (straights, acceleration). Found out that being able to push the front end into a turn hard and with a lot of speed works better. This is a very good tire. I've ridden plenty of 29er tires and for everything but racing this could be my favorite. Heck, maybe for racing as well. Time will tell. Riding tubeless btw w/Stan's Arch.
Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 29" Tire:
I set it up tubeless and it seated well and never leaked, rolls fast and grips well. What more could you want?
