Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire

The Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire is a fast XC racing tire that also makes itself comfortable in technical Enduro type riding. The new SnakeSkin sidewall is standard and makes it immune to cuts and blows, while Tubeless conversion brings lower rolling resistance and high reliability to the table.

  • Triple Compound technology incorporates three different rubber compounds to achieve both speed and grip
  • Uses an extremely elastic tread base for very low rolling resistance, and a stable center and extra shoulder grip for performance and cornering
  • Utilizes the super-fast chassis of the Racing Ralph

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire:

I bought this for my son's bike to replace a worn out tire. The tire has very good grip where we ride and performs fantastic. I installed this on the rear of the bike and plan to purchase another for the front soon. I highly recommend this tire.

A Reliable Nobby with Low Rolling Resistance

By Tim K

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire:

Rear tubeless bought for week adventure in rocky rooty Sierra Nevada. Brought home for hard pack Bay Area rides. It has hooked up all around with the exception of the snow patches. Low rolling resistance is awesome on the road and when speed is the desired outcome.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire:

I use these on my single speed 29er on the trails around Phoenix and they rock! The dual (or triple?) compound is perfect for this area. They're durable, light, they corner well, provide great traction... I mounted them on my Sun Charger Pro tubeless rims and they went on and sealed as easy as any tubeless tire I've encountered.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire:

This is the front tire that came on my new Yeti SB-66. The rear is a Schwalbe Racing Ralph. After about two months of use I am very satisfied with them. They're lightweight, have excellent grip and are tubeless ready. The only negative with Schwalbe tires is their price. Having said that, when it's time to replace my tires, I most likely will go with Schwalbe again.

Comments about Schwalbe Nobby Nic 26" Tire:

So far I've been really happy with these. Going around a really tricky high speed corner, I hit my back wheel on a sharp rock, hard enough to get a flat. Good news was the tire was totally fine and so was the rest of my bike. I have yet to test these in thick mud but on everything else (e.g. rock, loose leaves, pine straw, dirt) they've been great. No complaints!

The Nobby Nic was updated in 2015. Is this the newer tread pattern or old stock of the previous design? The photo shows the older design, which I am not interested in.

Photo is wrong, the tire we have is the one with the newer tread pattern. And yes, this is the performance model.
