Shelter is an adhesive visco-elastomeric material (like memory foam) designed to be used on bicycle frames in order to protect them from abrasions and rock strikes. With its 50 layers of energy-absorbing netting and an optimized density, Shelter is a light weight, durable way to protect down tubes, chainstays, or any other part of the frame. What makes Shelter different than traditional abrasion resistant materials is its ability to absorb and dissipate the force of impacts, while still being only slightly thicker than traditional frame protection.
