Deore is a great value. I ran a Deore rear derailleur for years and it was a great part. The shifting is a little sluggish compared to higher end derailleurs, and it's a bit heavier, but it's also 1/2 the price, so you can't complain too much. Easy to install and adjust-- great bang for the buck here.

This Derailleur came stock on my Marin. It worked great, and is very easy to adjust with the barrel adjuster on the derailleur.
