This is my second pair of clipless shoes, I'm replacing Louis Garneau Multi with SPD cleats. Compared to the LG's these are much lighter, better ventilated, and far more difficult to walk in. I would say the comfort level is similar, both are comfortable pairs of shoes to wear.
Fitting was a bit of a nightmare. I'm a 10.5 US so according to the chart I should wear a 45. I tried on a pair of Shimano shoes (different model) in a 45 at a local shop and they were too big, so I ordered 44's in these. They arrived and were too small, so I returned them and ordered 45's. Still too small. Now I have 46's and the fit perfectly lengthwise but are a bit narrow.
There is a dime size ventilation hole in the sole in front of the pedal, so they breath really well but you'll not want to walk through any puddles. They feel substantially lighter than my LG's and the sole is solid feeling and stiff.
I've held lighter shoes, and found better fits, but at a sub $100 price point I couldn't ask for anything more. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and look forward to putting a lot of miles on these shoes.

Use these shoes every day for my work commute. They are comfortable, well made, adjust easily and have been great to ride in. I find the toe box to be a bit generous in size and I do not have a narrow foot. This may help keep the blood flowing to my toes but may still be a bit much. Other than that I have been very happy with them and would certainly buy another pair.
