            Bought the size 47, usually a 46 in Scott and specialized shoes after reading shimano are smallish. They are a good fit. Definitely narrower in profile than the Scott's or specialised so if you've got very wide feet they may be tight.

              Shimano's shoes fit my feet really well. I've owned numerous pairs over the years, and they all fit great (size 44), and the R133L is no exception.

              Once adjusted right, I get no hot spots and my feet do not move around at all. The soles are stiff and the shoes have great ventilation.

              I actually like the white color. I am using this pair as my primary pair, and my old trusty R151's are now my rain shoes.

                      Shimano R133L Road Shoes: I have an older pair of lower end Shimanos (SPD-SLs) that I've always liked, and the R133Ls are just a really nice upgrade on a dependable classic -- stiffer, lighter and more precision adjustment in the fit. The nice thing is knowing that the 44 in my old shoe is exactly the same fit as the 44 in my new one. I have fairly narrow feet with Morton's toe, which makes sizing a bit tricky, but the toe box on the Shimaanos is just roomy enough without being sloppy. I'm near the top end of the rachet so I think it could accommodate a slightly heavier foot no problem. (My shoe size runs around 9.5 for street shoes and 10/44 for anything athletic.) If they wear anything like my old ones, I'll be happy; those things are bomb-proof.

                      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
