Although I haven't taken this for a ride, the fit is accurate very comfortable and light. Can't wait for the winter months.

Warm and comfortable
I wanted to ride all year long and wearing a sock liner and wool socks just was not enough to keep my feet warm with the same shoes I wear the rest of the year. My feet were getting cold after only 30 minutes. The shoes solved that problem. I ordered a half size larger (EU sizing) and they fit well. Riding in 30 deg F weather, wearing just one regular sock has not been a problem. These are comfortable and I have not noticed any loss of power transfer when pedaling. You may need to use a little caulk to seal up the gap in the screw slots between your cleat and the sole to keep water out.

Nice Winter Shoes
These shoes are well-constructed, designed, and comfortable. While I have not worn them in the rain, they seem as though they would be somewhat water resistant. While they are winter shoes, my toes have become very cold on long rides (4+ hours) above freezing. I purchased a size larger than normal to allow room for heavy socks and toe warmers. I'll use both of those for the next big ride, which will be 176 km (110 miles) in 32 - 38 degree F windy weather, to celebrate the Strade Bianche race of that length in Italy.

Overall, these shoes were a good purchase for me as they are warmer than traditional road or mountain bike shoes with shoe covers.

PROS: Comfortable, Lightweight, Rugged, Versatile

CONS: Not Warm Enough

BEST USES: Casual Trails, Winter Gravel Riding, Winter Road Riding

Why didn't I buy sooner
I wish I would have purchased these sooner. I had been using several brands of shoe covers but they are such a struggle to get on, aren't that warm, and seem to wear out quickly. These boots are great and much more comfortable and warm. Not quite as easy to walk in the snow with as my regular mountain bike shoes but you should be riding and not walking anyway!

PROS: Warm, Comfortable, Good Fit

BEST USES: Fat Bike Snow, Single Track

Sick deal on a solid shoe
The first ride out I didn't notice much difference in my the temperature of my toes but I was also going with just one pair of merino socks, attempting to gauge how well they'd do in sub-freezing weather. The next time out, the temps hovered right around 34 and I only had the one pair of socks again but things were much better.

All in all, under 32 degrees and I'll probably go with a sock liner and a thick merino sock. Above 32 and it'll just be the one pair of socks. I imagine I won't use them when the weather hits 40 or so.
