I primarily ride cross-country. 6 months ago I upgraded my crank and front derailleur from a Cannondale triple with a Deore FD, to Shimano XT (dynasys). The change is performance is INCREDIBLE. I run the 2x10 XT crankset and the matching derailleur (smaller cage for double chainring). I can now shift chainrings under incredible loads-- shifting is quick, quiet, and dependable.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
