Breathed new life into my old Silca

The original rubber washer in the chuck of my old Silca had become to worn out to stay attached to any valves. And then I saw it: a brand new rubber washer, bright red and in the perfect O shape, ready to wrap itself tightly around any and all valves! As I slowly replaced my original washer I told her it was me, not her. But we both knew the truth. She's now spending time in some corner of my tool box with an old bottom bracket tool and some toe clips that haven't seen the light of day in years. I don't want to know what's going on down there.

A washer that I borrowed out of another manufacturer's frame pump worked considerably better.
