SixSixOne Raji Glove 2014

Sixsixone Raji Glove 2014

At first glance, it's obvious that the Raji Glove from Sixsixone is a thoroughly breathable glove. The open mesh upper provides excellent air flow and is paired with a durable perforated dual-layer palm area that incorporates silicone graphic prints for added grip. A terry cloth sweat wipe along the edge of the thumb helps keep the sweat out of your eyes so you can focus on the trail instead of a nagging sting in your eyes. Clean lines and simple design make for a stylish glove that not only performs well but looks good in the process.

Features:
  • Ultra lightweight and breathable construction with open mesh upper
  • Increased grip and control with silicone printed palm and finger tips
  • Increased durability with embossed palm overlay
  • Moisture absorbing sweat wipe
  • 45% Synthetic Leather, 45% Nylon, 10% Polyester

Great light gloves
These are really good gloves for XC or All-Mountain biking. They are so light you forget you are wearing them and also let a lot of air in on hot days. This is my third time buying this glove and have found they usually last about a year or so before they start getting worn out. I usually buy a size bigger than my hand size which allows them to slide on easier and makes it less likely to tear. I had one pair of gloves seams tear near the palm but after resewing them, they are still going strong. The other pairs have had no problems tearing or coming loose at the seams so I think that one pair might have been part of a bad bunch.

If you plan to do heavy duty DH these gloves will probably not be tough enough and will wear out too quickly. These are minimalist gloves with the idea of having as close to bare hands as possible.

wears out quickly
This glove is ok for the price. It fits well enough and is lightweight and cool. It wears out pretty quickly though. After about a month of use its coming apart. Not bad for commuting or if you just want a full fingered glove for those really hot days. I would use something else for your everyday mtb glove
