This is an excellent guard! A single strap runs in a criss-cross across the back of the guard, so you can adjust the tightness once and then slip the guard on/off from there. Once its on it stays on and doesn't slide down your arm. They are very comfortable and I forget I'm wearing them. Its only gotten up to the mid-70`F here so far but the guards come off of me wet with sweat so they may be a little hot once summer temps roll in.

Decent protection, not to hot or cumbersome. Only downside is you look like a storm trooper if you combine these with the shin/knee guards.
